Another fantastic event brought to you by Stirchley, the Way Forward (not for profit) at Stirchley Baths
Thunderstorms threatened but thankfully the sun shone for the opening of the fête.
‘Mrs Barbara Nice’ in her own unique style our local comedienne assisted by Val from Spintaneous (who carried the P.A. system) belted out the music of Hawaii 5’O. Mrs Barbara Nice lead the surfing conga throughout the heritage building into the grounds to the rapturous applause of onlookers.
Karen Cheney kindly judged the teddy bears in the competition. Scott’s magic show was a hit and it was a treat for us to see the happy faces of the children and adults.
Thanks to those who gave the audience demonstrations of tai chi and Barn dancing. DJ Sam brought his music, dancing and entertainment. Even members of the StWF team were encouraged to join in at one point. Although, possibly an embarrassment to their families.
We would like to thank everyone who came along and took part.
We would also like to thank the staff of Stirchley Baths who helped us put on such a successful event. I think everyone will agree? Stirchley Baths has become a diamond within Stirchley Village.
With best wishes to you all: - Chris, Sue Lisa and Susan.
